JCC Camps at Medford
When you're a kid, every summer matters.

Camp Aaron kept the excitement going throughout our 2nd week of camp.

Our performing dance and theater campers are busy practicing for their Week 4 performance that will take place at the JCC on Wednesday, July 22nd at 7pm.  Walking around the Camp Aaron Complex you can hear these future actors singing and practicing all the songs from Peter Pan, Jr. Our young stars are sure to impress their friends and families that night!

Competitive sports teams have been chosen and the campers have been battling it out on our sports fields.  Teams rotate each day playing a different team and a different sport.  We will have playoffs and crown a champion toward the end of the camp season. At the pool, all campers have been placed in swim groups and received their color swim caps. During free swim, the campers are enjoying both the diving board and water slide!  On a side note, there has been a ton of bathing suits, shirts and towels left at the pool and in the changing area- it would be helpful if clothes were labeled so we can return these items to the campers.

Gilad campers are eagerly making plans for their overnight on Thursday, July 16. Lots of great activities are planned, including a swim at the Shalom Pool/Splash Park, a guest performer, and much more!  It’s a great opportunity for our youngest Camp Aaron campers to take part in this special Camp Aaron Rite of Passage. Parents can log into their Camp In Touch portal and fill out a permission slip for the overnight online.

Have a great weekend!
