Making Memories with Camp Shalom!
Even though temperatures were soaring into the 90s this week, our spirits still remained high at Camp Shalom. Campers stayed cool on the sports fields, where we added super soakers and water sprays into the games!! The fish were hungry at the lake, where we had several campers catch bass this week. At Master Chef Jr., our young chefs made delicious Earth designed cupcakes in order to help campers remember to Protect the Earth. During Usable Art, campers created colorful tic-tac-toe games using rocks and neon paint. At Music, our Camp Shalom campers learned a song about recycling and other songs which also helped kids remember the importance of protecting our planet. Looking forward to another fun week next week at Camp Shalom! Don’t forget to get your Late Stay Permission slips filled out for our upcoming Late Stay events (permission slips can be found on your Camp In Touch Portal).
