What a wonderful week it was at Camp Shalom this week! Campers “remembered their roots” at Master Chef, Jr., where they baked delicious honey cake muffins! At Usable Arts, we created beautiful lanterns. And our Mad Scientists learned about gases and air pressure, and even got to try out the famous “Mentos and Coke” experiment! Our Jerusalem and Tel Aviv campers enjoyed spending extra time playing and hanging out with their friends at our first Shalom Late Stay on Tuesday and ended the evening with a rousing performance from the Harlem Hoopsters. On Thursday, everyone had a blast at Carnival Day where campers and counselors alike had fun displaying their mad skills at our Midway Carnival games, competed in relay races on the Sports Fields, and bounced, splashed, and played on our floating inflatables at the pool. Looking forward to our second Late Stay next Wednesday, July 27th, with our Haifa and Eilat campers. Please remember to go onto your Camp In Touch Portal and fill out the permission form for your Late Stay!
