Chaverim is on the move!
Chaverim had a fantastic final week of camp in New England. First, we had amazingly beautiful and moderate weather which was great to escape the NJ heat. Our whirlwind tour of New England had something for everyone. On the first day we got to channel our inner kid again and see how the famous Vermont Teddy bears are made. Many of us will return home with some new furry friends. We ended our long first day with our own tour of Ben and Jerrys where we got to see how it is made and taste the delicious ice cream. Next, we got to explore the outdoors of Vermont at Okemo Mt. Resort. We rode mountain coasters and many people even took the terrifying leap of faith onto the airbag! On our 3rd day we got to say we were true Bostonians as we toured Fenway and got to sit up on the Green Monster. Then we got the more local feel by hitting up Faneuil Hall and Freedom Trail with a lunch stop at Quincy Market. We ended the evening with dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and the side splitting show Shear Madness. We absolutely loved all that Boston had to offer. Finally, on our way home we got to visit the Mystic Aquarium and even ate Mystic Pizza. It was a whirlwind of a week, and we couldn’t ask for a better send off to an even better summer!
This summer has been an absolute blast, and the wheels are already in motion for an amazing Summer 2017. Have a great school year!
