JCC Camps at Medford
When you're a kid, every summer matters.

This week’s heat did not stop the Hilltopers from having fun, fun, fun in the hot, hot sun! Water play was incorporated into the activities to help the kids keep cool throughout the day. Many campers made great progress as they learn to ride two-wheel bikes! In Scooters and Games, kids had fun playing “Clean Your Room.” In Arts and Crafts, we created placemats that include the blessing over bread (the hamotzi). Campers moved and grooved nonstop in Dance, while in Gymnastics, they worked on their tumbling skills. In Theater, rehearsals are in full swing for our upcoming performance based on the Wizard of Oz. The Little Scientists explored primary and secondary colors by making color wheels, and The Little Chefs enjoyed baking super tasty carrot muffins! For Shabbat, we welcomed our special guests from The PJ Library who lead us in blessings, songs, and stories.

We are looking forward to Parent Visitation day for Shoresh campers next week on Tuesday, July 14th!
