Camp Aaron Week 1

Camp Aaron is ready and raring to go!

What a great 1st week for Camp Aaron!  On Monday, campers were reacquainted with camp friends, met their counselors, and had the opportunity to meet the specialists who will be instructing their activities. While some campers selected traditional favorites like Top Chef Medford, Gaga, and Lake Inflatables, others took the opportunity to experience some of our new additions.  At Song Leading, campers learned a few chords on the guitar. In Boat Building, campers finished up the boat that was started last summer (and launched it on the lake!), and began making preparations for this year’s project. Many smiles were seen at Tailgate Games where campers participated in games of Kan Jam, Corn Hole, and Ladder Ball.  New games like Nine Square in the Air and Trangleball will be introduced in the coming weeks. Please remember, Picture Day is next Wednesday: Please wear your Camp T-Shirt (and don’t forget your order form). Also, don’t forget to fill out permission slips for our overnights (permission slips are in your Camp InTouch portal).  If you ever have any questions or concerns, please reach out to campaaron@jfedsnj.org and we will get back to you ASAP.

Want to try out our Things That Go activity at home over the long weekend?  Check out the instructions: Paper Stomp Rockets (002).

Shabbat Shalom – have a great 4th of July weekend, and we will see you Tuesday, July 5th!
