Hilltop Happenings
Ruach week is one of the greatest weeks of camp. Not only do the campers get to show their spirit by partaking in crazy themed days, but they also love getting to contribute tzedakah. It was great to watch all of the camper get excited to bring in their spare change. This week in Usable Arts, the campers used shrinky dinks to make charms for their kindness bracelets and learned about acts of loving kindness. In Nature, we did a mitzvah for the birds when we made pine cone bird feeders. Our little scientists learned house to blow up a balloon with gas produced from a chemical reaction. Little chefs were mixing it up again making kettle corn and homemade lemonade. We finished off our week with Rabbi Nathan for Shabbat.
Coming up next week we have our Hilltop Skating Party at ISC on Monday August 7th at 6:30 PM and the Hilltop show is Thursday August 10th at the Katz JCC at 7 PM. Additional show information will be emailed home for our performers. We hope to see you there!
