Camp Aaron Week 8 – 2019
Camp Aaron is having a blast!
As we wrap up another summer at the JCC Camps at Medford, our campers and staff competed in WIFI WARS… MACCABIAH 2019! It was great seeing our campers and staff dress up representing their team colors. On Monday, each division participated in relays at the sports field and had the opportunity to sign up to compete in activities of their choice. Tuesday, we had an interactive game show with Hollyrock… it’s always a highlight of the summer. Other events during the week included the penny fetch, swim meet, Minute to Win It, and field games. With the final score still in question, our week came to a culmination with our Apache Relay and our “Sign, Song, and Cheer” Competition. Each team put forth their best effort and will share Maccabiah memories for years to come.

As the camp season comes to a close it’s time to reminisce about what an amazing summer we had this year. In addition to their favorites (Crafts, Lake Inflatables, Archery, etc….) campers were encouraged to try different activities. We had a memorable time on our overnights, during Carnival Day, Israel Day, and with all our other special events. Within these activities friendships were formed and/or strengthened. We will miss our 8th grade friends but look forward to seeing them move up to be LITs next summer.
It has been another wonderful summer for everyone in Camp Aaron! Thank you for sharing your children with us. I hope everyone has a great camp off-season and we’ll look forward to seeing everyone back in Medford for Summer 2020!
