Camp Aaron is having a blast!

It was wonderful seeing so many smiling faces and watching campers playing in their activities! From the moment the campers came to their pavilions on Monday and started their activities, there was an overwhelming sense of excitement.

During the first week, our Camp Aaron campers became more familiar with our Majors based bunks, spent time at Lake Inflatables, Archery and many other of our other favorite camp activities. In Arts & Crafts our campers worked together to create an absolutely beautiful quilt! The quilt allowed each camper to add a piece of fabric that showcased an expression of themselves or their love for camp. It is currently being displayed on the arts pavilion and it is really a sight to see! In Top Chef, the campers created cherry hand pies to honor our first week theme–Spiderman, and in Drawing & Painting the campers made super cool flag inspired painted canvases to honor the 4th of July. Performing Arts and Performing Dance already started rehearsals for their upcoming shows.

With all of our campers back to camp, participating in their favorite activities, it was truly an incredible feeling overall. From seeing returning faces and welcoming new ones, camp feels right again!

Permission forms for our Late Stays are posted in your Camp InTouch portals. As a reminder, campers need to be registered for the week of the late stay in order for them to attend.

We are looking forward to another 7 amazing weeks! If you ever have any questions or concerns, please reach out to campaaron@jfedsnj.org and we will get back to you asap. Remember, no camp on Monday.

Shabbat Shalom – and we will see you on Tuesday.

B’Shalom,
