Camp Aaron is having a blast! Week 5 2021

We had so much fun during Week 5 in Camp Aaron. On Monday we welcomed many new campers for the second half of the camp season. We also celebrated Israel Week! Many activities incorporated Israel themed projects like painting Jerusalem City and drawing a Zentangle Dove in Drawing and Painting. In Kosher Cooking, students made a delicious Israeli salad which was enjoyed by all. Our Digi Photo campers visited Israel and sent postcards home to their families (not really, but the campers and staff are so creative!). We switched up our instructional swim a little this week. Our campers worked on safety and team building. Lifeguarding skills were taught, and our campers participated in a cardboard boat building contest. It was definitely a great week all around.

Thursday was the Liberal Arts major’s late stay. Our late stay campers got to spend additional time with their camp friends. Besides dinner and participating in some awesome activities the campers battled it out during a high energy game show, which the campers were still buzzing about on Friday!

As another week flies by, we find ourselves looking forward to Ruach Week. Monday is Disney Magic, Tuesday is tie-dye, Wednesday is wacky hair day, Thursday is “throwback Thursday”, and Friday is camp pride day. Let’s show everyone that Camp Aaron has the most spirit!
Next week we also have the late stay for our Sports and Stem majors on Thursday, August 5th. Lots of great activities are planned! If you have not already done so, please fill out the permission slip online in your Camp InTouch portal.
