Camp Aaron – Week 1 2017

What a great 1st week for Camp Aaron!  On Monday, campers were reacquainted with camp friends, met their counselors, and had the opportunity to meet the specialists who will be instructing their activities. While some campers selected traditional favorites like Arts and Crafts, Gaga, and Archery, others took the opportunity to experience some of our new additions.

At Yoyo, world champion Tyler Severance taught our campers some really neat tricks.  Our Laser Tag campers had the opportunity to test out our new “markers” and were able to practice hitting their targets. Working with Wax was tremendously popular and the finished projects look amazing. We added a new game, BulziBucket to Tailgate Games and made the extremely popular 9 Square in the Air its own activity. Please remember, Picture Day is next Friday: Please wear your Camp T-Shirt (and don’t forget your order form). Also, don’t forget to fill out the online permission form for our overnights (permission forms are available in your Camp Intouch portal).  If you ever have any questions or concerns, please reach out to campaaron@jfedsnj.org and we will get back to you ASAP.  Remember, no camp on Tuesday for July 4th.
