Camp Aaron – Week 5
Camp Aaron is having a blast!
There was more Camp Aaron fun during Week 5!
On Monday, we welcomed our new 2nd half campers. Monday was also the start of Israel Week. The campers were treated to a falafel lunch and many discovered a newfound liking for falafel and hummus. Tuesday was Israel Day and the JCC Camp Shlichot (Stav, Zohar, Orel) and the rest of the Camp Aaron staff, did an amazing job. There were 3 areas: Israel’s 70th Birthday, Army Training, and A Taste of Israel. The campers rotated between the areas and got to play games and eat. They then had division-wide trivia competitions!
Thursday was the Arad overnight. After spending some extra time at camp and eating dinner we bused the campers to the Katz JCC in Cherry Hill for an AWESOME Cool Science Program. The program concluded with the campers helping our presenter make ice cream that everyone got to taste. Our night wrapped up with a dip in the pool.
As another week flies by, we find ourselves looking forward to Ruach Week. Let’s show everyone that Camp Aaron has the most spirit.
