Camp Aaron- Week 7, 2019

Camp Aaron is having a blast!

Where has summer gone?!

After weeks of rehearsing our theater performers had the opportunity to showcase their talents for their friends and family. “Annie Jr.” was a huge success and the audience was treated to a top notch performance. The actors did an amazing job and their weeks of hard work certainly paid off. Additionally, our largest ever group of performing dancers performed and they were spectacular. Great job by everyone involved!

Our Competitive Sports League champions were crowned in an intense arena soccer match. The campers played hard all summer and the winners received the championship trophy. Campers are finishing up projects and we encourage them daily to bring them home so they can share their masterpieces with their families. At the request of many campers we will be sharing all the recipes from our Top Chef program so you and your camper(s) can enjoy them during the off season.

Color War broke on Friday, and we are preparing for an intense week of friendly competition. We held our 1st event on Friday afternoon as the campers searched for the AFIKOMEN (the theme this week was Passover). Four colored batons were hidden around camp and the campers were given clues in order to find them. Perhaps your camper was one of the few who found one and earned the 1st points for their team. Camp Aaron will once again be extending Color War until Friday when our week will culminate with an Apache Relay and our Sign, Song, and Cheer Competition. Good luck to all of our teams.

Let’s finish off the summer with a bang!

B’Shalom,
