Camp Hilltop – Week 2-2017
Camp Hilltop is embracing this week’s theme of Shalom Bayit (Peace in the home)! In Arts and Crafts, we painted over tape, which when removed, revealed our beautiful peace signs. Usable Arts made peace sign dream catchers using decoupage and beading. May they catch your family’s special dreams. Little Chefs made amazing chocolate chip cookie bars. The smell was enticing all over camp. In Little Science, we continued to use our engineering skills to complete a unique building challenge, continuing our new STEM curriculum. Bobby Leech’s Karate instructors taught the kids some new moves emphasizing balance and gross motor skills. Our show preparations have gotten off to a great start and it promises to be a memorable evening.
We smiled big on picture day on Wednesday, and can’t wait to see how they turn out. We are looking forward to having our Shoresh and Geza/Elon Parents visit next week! The kids are eager to show their families how much fun they are having in all of the incredible activities!
