Camp Hilltop Week 8 – 2019
Good bye, so long, farewell my friends…Where did the summer go? What a magical ending to a summer that flew by too fast! Week 8 was Maccabiah Color War, where all of the campers engaged in friendly competition. The rachmanus (sportsmanship) and ruach (spirit) was seen, felt, and heard around the Camp Hilltop fields and pavilions. Campers also earned points for their teams by being super quiet during Tuesday’s Silent Lunch! It was a very close race, and everyone played hard and tried their best. We ended our week with divisional parties and bunk unity. Finally, we recited the Shabbat blessings one last time as a Hilltop Community, enjoying some delicious challah before heading off to the bus yard!
Thank you to all the wonderful campers, families, and staff members for making this summer a fantastic one! We hope you have a terrific school year, and we look forward to seeing you in 2020!
B’Shalom,
Dina Wolf
