Chaverim – Week 5 – 2019

Chaverim is on the move!

This week we were inspired by the Queen song “Don’t Stop Us Now”. Actually the only thing that has tried to stop us has been the rain. We defeated the rain on Monday when we visited an absolutely empty Hurricane Harbor. If there is one thing that Chaverim campers love besides ice cream, it’s an empty water park! Any time you can go on as many rides as you’d like on a blazing hot day, you know it’s going to be a great day! On Tuesday, the weather thought it was going to beat us but we made a change of plans. Instead of going to the boardwalk at Wildwood, we hung out indoors at Dave and Busters. It was a blast! On Wednesday, we went to the concrete jungle where dreams are made of – New York. We took an unbelievable TOUR of the city and got to eat some great New York food, and we were able to walk around Times Square. On Thursday, we went to an aqua park. We all thought that the Medford lake had the largest lake inflatables in the world. Boy, were we wrong. The inflatables at Dutch Spring were amazing! On Friday, we ended the week at an escape room. It was quite a week in Chaverim!!
