By Sara Sideman, JCC Camps at Medford Director
For those of us who work full-time in the world of Camp, there are really only two seasons: camp and not camp. The concept of living 10 months for 2 really rings true for our JCC Camps at Medford team. We spend 10 months of the year living, working, planning for two months of camp.
So while we are right now still in the beginning of “not camp” season, we do love being at the JCC Camps at Medford in the Fall. Our incredible environment on our 120 acre campsite lends itself to a time a peace, renewal, and reflection. Because we are blessed to be in such a beautiful natural environment, we have the joy of watch the leaves change, seeing which animals visit us on quiet days at camp, and get to enjoy sweatshirt weather as we take the golf cart around looking at the fantastic projects our site team work on.
After a year off due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are thrilled to invite you to our summer home, even during “not camp season” for our JCC Fall Festival. Come and enjoy everything you love about camp- community, our staff team, great activities, along with fun fall favorites like hayrides and pumpkins. This year, pre-registration is STRONGLY encouraged as spaces are limited and WILL sell out. Register today at https://katzjcc.org/fallfest/
