GESHER LIT’s GET GOING! Week 4

Week 4 was so much fun! LITs had a lot going on; we had our Late State Luau at camp and had time to hang with our friends, go swimming after hours, play party games and enjoy some delicious goodies! On Friday we were also visited by Child’s Play Challenge Course who came out to camp to bring our LITs a really fun ‘American Ninja Warrior’ style challenge course with the added coaching in team building, communication skills and more!

We got to work on our community service project decorating a collection bin for the LIT run book drive we are hosting WEEK 5 in partnership with Bookmates and Booksmiles. We are asking everyone at camp to bring books to donate to these awesome organizations and we will be collecting them at the bus yard in the morning all week.

Our LITs have been working hard and learning so much. They have made such a tremendous impact on their campers, and we are so happy to see them enjoying their time with them! We have some great things in the works for next week and we are looking forward to more time together.
