Hilltop Happenings – Week 4

We appreciate all of you! Many memories were made this week during Appreciation Week. This week’s character traits were speed and compassion. The heroes that exemplify these character traits are The Flash and Mark Spitz. In Usable Art, campers listened to Jumping Jenny. Then, campers colored in star banners to decorate their bunk table. What a great way to appreciate each bunk! In Gymnastics, campers completed an obstacle course of jumping up and down on a trampoline, hopping from dot to dot and walking on a balance beam. They used their speed, just like The Flash. While at Campers Take the Stage, campers danced and posed like The Flash or Mark Spitz during freeze dance. They also learned that it is important to be helpful. They sang “Help.” All campers were very helpful on Tuesday during the camp-wide clean-up day as we showed our appreciation for nature. What a memorable week, we look forward to making more memories next week!
