Larry Helfman
Camp Aaron Director
Larry is excited to be celebrating his 22nd year at the JCC Camps at Medford. He spent 14 years as a camper/counselor (1973-1986), 3 as the Camp Shalom Director (2003-2005), and now 5 as the Camp Aaron Director (2015-present). In between he spent 9 years as the Boys Head Counselor and Camp Coordinator at a sleepover camp. During the "off season" he is a school teacher in Pennsauken, NJ. Larry enjoys playing basketball in the JCC Adult Basketball League. On the weekends during the year, he loves traveling to visit his daughter in New York and two sons in Connecticut.
