Camp Shalom Director

Lisa Bellagamba loves her summers at the JCC Camps at Medford as Director of Camp Shalom. Prior to being the director, Lisa was the assistant director of Camp Shalom and the Usable Arts Specialist in Camp Hilltop. Lisa is not a native of the area but fell in love with the JCC Camps at Medford when her son first began in Camp Hilltop years ago. Since she didn’t grow up with the camp experience, and loved hearing about all of the fun her son was having, Lisa decided she wanted to come to camp. Lisa has a Masters in Elementary Education and has been an educator for over 25 years teaching both elementary school and more than 15 teaching at a local university. Lisa has two children that are also now staff members at camp. Lisa has loved watching her children grow in their confidence, their connection to nature, and making lasting friendships at the JCC Camps at Medford.
